A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: If he hadn't let his wrath consume him and hadn't attacked and nearly killed the Witch, his son would've lived and he never would've gone mad with grief.

His last phase is a pathetic old man who has nothing left to lose, and as he finally lays dying all he can do is pitifully beg Skul to spare Carleon's commonfolk while lamenting how much he misses his son and how he wishes he had spent more time with him. In his Last Stand, he refuses to stop fighting Skul, as he considers him and all other demons a menace to Carleon, and will never stop fighting to protect his nation despite its decadence and corruption.
Alas, Poor Villain: He believed that the new Demon King was trying to bring peace, but when he lost his child to an unknown third party and saw the Demon King near his body, his mind was utterly clouded with rage and grief, and declared war on demonkind. Losing Your Head: One of the 2 attacks his base form grants him involves chucking his head at enemies. In death, he kills dozens of them, culminating with his own father. Irony: In life, he wanted to be a hero like his father. Kid Hero: Was a child at the time of his first death. The soldier stabbed him in a Gory Discretion Shot.

Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: After fleeing the labs beneath Carleon Castle, a mutated knight pursued him. He Knows Too Much: The reason he was originally killed was because he accidentally discovered a conspiracy to restart the war between Carleon and the Demon King. Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: When he was still alive, his hair was blonde, and was a friendly and caring child. The Grim Reaper: One of the abilities granted by the wearable skulls. It explodes while using the Mummy ability. Bad with the Bone: Wields a large femur. Later, when the First Hero kills him, one of the former prisoners of the alchemist labs revives him. He was reborn as a skeleton after a knight of Carleon stabbed him for knowing too much. Back from the Dead: The reason he's still around. He is the titular protagonist of the game. The only way to play as Little Bone again is to start a new run.A skeleton and member of the Demon's Guard who is the only survivor of Carleon's raid on the Demon King Castle. It is the default skull of every attempt you make and has no way of returning if you replace it with either another skull and move to another map. Skul, also known as Little Bone, is the main character and unique in comparison to any other skull. When going from Rare to Unique, a second skill is also obtained at the same Unique calibre, as opposed to the Common version of that gained skill. Most skulls also have the ability to Awaken, transforming into a better version of that skull, with its abilities improved. Each skull has special stats and abilities associated with it, and each one has a different skill set when swapped to. One of the main mechanics in Skul: The Hero Slayer is the player's ability to switch the default skull with another, found throughout the playthrough.
